Four arrested after car rolls down bank fleeing Auckland burglary

Four people have been arrested following a burglary in the Auckland suburb of Alfriston, where a fleeing car rolled down a nearby embankment.

A police spokesperson said officers responded to the incident around 7.55pm where they found three vehicles in a driveway and four people taking things from a house on Polo Prince Dr.

“Police blocked the driveway to prevent the vehicles leaving at which time two people surrendered to Police and two others attempted to flee from the property in a vehicle.”

“In the process of fleeing, they rolled their vehicle.
