The High Court will commence its annual Christmas vacation on Monday, December 16, 2024.

It will resume normal duties on Monday, January 20, 2025, ahead of the official opening of the Legal Year on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

This schedule was confirmed in an email circulated by the Registrar of the High Court, Myonnie A. Tutuo Ofaga.

During the vacation period, the court’s registry will remain open to the public for limited hours: from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the morning, and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the afternoon.

The Registrar also confirmed the Court of Appeal’s sitting dates for 2025. The first session is scheduled for March 31 to April 11, and the second session will take place from October 6 to October 17.

Similar vacation schedules and arrangements will apply to other courts across the country.
