Sigatoka Proud to Host Fiji Cup

Nadroga Rugby Union president Jiuta Waqavonovono said they are proud to host the first Fijian Cup Sevens Tournament 2024.

The two-day tournament ends today at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka

He said Nadroga Rugby has come together to celebrate what would become a cherished annual tournament in their sporting community.

“This inaugural tournament is not just about competition; it’s about coming together to build a stronger foundation for rugby in Fiji,” he said.

“Where we showcase our unique talents, and celebrating the spirit of unity that defines our people.”

Coordinator Mervin Singh said the Fijian Cup is not only a celebration of athletic excellence but also a key event in our sports tourism calendar.

“It’s aimed to foster community engagement and support emerging talent. We would love for you to join us, bringing your audience exclusive insights into the matches, the players, and the vibrant festivities.”
