Fiji Airports Limited is currently undergoing its first ever review of its airport security governance, systems and processes.
This is being done by Aviation security experts from Airports Council International (ACI) and includes five international aviation security experts from South Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and Tahiti.
“Fiji Airports is quite fortunate to have been considered for this critical review considering the role we play in aviation in Fiji and our Blue Pacific region,” said Fiji Airports Chief Executive Officer, Mesake Nawari.
“Recommendations from this important exercise will allow us to improve and enhance standard practices here at the airport and ensure safety of our customers.”
Mr Nawari said this review would allow Fiji Airports to identify areas of improvement within our airports and improved processes to align with international best practices.
