The Tailevu/Naitasiri football team will bank on their Under-19 players at the FMF Inter-District Championship (IDC) which kicks-off on October 15.

Head coach Priyant Manu said his side would prepare accordingly before they head to Churchill Park, Lautoka.

They are in Group B of the Premier division along with Tavua and Savusavu.

He indicated that Tailevu/Naitasiri has only won the Senior division at the IDC and is looking forward to win the Premier division title.

Manu understands that the two teams would want to finish on a high since the IDC is the last tournament of the year.

“Definitely in a tough pool with Tavua, they have just been promoted,” he said.

“We will give our best shot.

“Most of our under-19 and youth players will be given a chance at the IDC to give them exposure.

“We will definitely do something come game day.”

The IDC competition is from October 15-20.
