• A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain affects parts of the group and spreading to the rest of the country later today.
• Meanwhile, a northeast to southerly wind flow prevails over Fiji.
• Occasional rain, heavy at times and possible isolated thunderstorms over Yasawa and Mamanuca groups, Viti Levu, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands and Southern Lau group. Cloudy periods with some showers over southern Bua, eastern Macuata and Cakaudrove provinces, Lomaiviti, Central and Northern Lau groups.
• Elsewhere, cloudy periods with isolated afternoon or evening showers.
• Showers gradually increasing to rain over the rest of the group from later today.
• Isolated thunderstorms and heavy falls expected.
• Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
• Rain easing and clearing from the west later tonight and over the rest of the country later tomorrow.
• Moderate northeast to southerly winds.
• Winds predominantly becoming southerly tomorrow.

• Cool nights over Viti Levu and the southern parts of the group from tonight.
