The Ratu Kadavulevu School Under-17 captain, Lemeki Senikau, aims to improve on his kicking and positional play before Saturday’s Vodafone Deans Trophy final.
He was speaking to SUNsports after their 38-11 win over Ratu Navula College in the semi-final and faces Marist Brothers High School in the final.
“We rely on God’s strength and guidance in our performance on the field,” Senikau said.
“We will have to remain calm under pressure in the final against Marist Brothers High School side.”
Senikau said unity among the players is the reason behind their cohesive performance on the field.
“This win is dedicated to our parents, friends and the ex-scholars. We faced a lot of challenges in our 13-week training programme but the players persevered on.”
