WBF Sanctions Asia Pacific Cruiserweight Title Fight

The World Boxing Foundation (WBF) has confirmed that it is sanctioning next Saturday’s (June 22) Asia Pacific cruiserweight title fight between Savenaca Naliva and Sebastian Singh at Suva’s Vodafone Arena.

The World Boxing Foundation (WBF) has confirmed that it is sanctioning next Saturday’s (June 22) Asia Pacific cruiserweight title fight between Savenaca Naliva and Sebastian Singh at Suva’s Vodafone Arena.

This was confirmed to SUNsports yesterday by WBF senior vice-president Paul Saunders (JP).

“I can confirm that this fight has been sanctioned by the WBF,” Saunders said.

“Both boxers (Naliva and Singh) are currently rated inside the WBF regional ratings.”

 

Meanwhile, Fiji cruiserweight champion Alivereti Kauyaca is fighting against Kyle Mereweather at Mangawhai High School in Northland, New Zealand next Friday.

Mereweather has a record  of one win and two losses while Kauyaca is unbeaten after 11 pro fights.
