Lautoka’s Ilimotama Jese scored the decisive fourth goal that sealed the deal for the Westerners against Nadroga.
Meanwhile, Oceania Fibreglass Navua football side was the first team through to the semi-finals last night.
This after their second win in the torunament over Nasinu 2-0 which was helped by Rewa’s draw with Labasa 0-0 confirming that spot.
Navua have been tagged the darkhorses of the tournament and remain undefeated after earlier beating Rewa 1-0 in Round 1 on Friday.
Their coach, Saiyad Ali, has used his captain, Thomas Dunn to good use as he continues to form a brick wall defense and were yet to concede a goal this season.
While the lethal combination of striker Jackson Wale and Rahul Krishna have contributed to all three goals in the tournament.
Meanwhile, Nasinu and Calgary Nadi have bowed out of the tournament after failing to register a single point and win.
Nadi has lost all of their three games while Nasinu is playing Rewa currently.
Extra Supermarket Labasa and Extra Supermarket Rewa are fighting for the final semi-final spot.
A win or draw for Labasa will confirm their spot while Rewa needs to beat Nasinu by a good scoreline.
Scenarios
In Pool A, Lautoka won the pool while Ba finished as runners-up.
In Pool B, Navua, needs a draw against the host to top the pool and Labasa could possibly end as runners-up with a draw.
