Fiji super featherweight boxer Krishnil Mudaliar has been told that he will be carried out of the ring.
The warning came from his opponent Ubayd Haider during the official weigh-in at the Nair’s Dais in Nadi yesterday.
Mudaliar opted to keep his cool and brushed Haider’s comments aside.
The duo will fight for Fiji super featherweight title at Prince Charles Park, Nadi, tonight.
Haider tipped the scale at 57.7 kilogrammes while Mudaliar weighed in at 57kg.
“There is no other thing but a win,” Haider said.
“He (Mudaliar) won’t be walking out of the ring. I’ve come to knock him out. I know that he won’t be standing there toe-to-toe.”
Haider has predicted a knockout win mid-way through the fight. He has nine professional fights with eight wins and a loss since he turned pro in 2019.
A confident Mudaliar declined to make any prediction.
“I have done my training- one hundred per cent. I’m prepared for this and looking forward to it.
“Let’s hope that I will take the title back to Suva.
“No prediction but let’s see how it comes in the ring. For me it is round by round. “Haider talks too much but I will see him in the ring.”
Mudaliar, the former Fiji bantamweight champion has fought 17 fights with 10 wins and seven losses since turning pro in 2009.
