Fijian players in the Queensland Reds outfit are anticipating a tough Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific encounter against the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua at the HFC Bank Stadium, Suva, this afternoon.
The players Serupepeli (Seru) Uru, Suliasi Vunivalu and Peni Ravai knows what it’s like when the Fijians are out to defend their home turf.
However, they told SUNsports that they are looking forward to the challenge.
Former NRL (National Rugby League) superstar winger Vunivalu said after the Drua’s 48-10 drubbing at the hands of Western Force, last Saturday, they would come out firing.
“We are all prepared for this week’s game,” Vunivalu said.
“We will stick to our game plan and get the job done. Our fans here have been calling us for tickets, so we know everyone is pumped up to come and support us. It is good to see all our families are keen to watch us.
“Just a message to our fans, thank you for the support for us Fijian boys playing for the Reds and please turn up on Saturday.”
Uru, the former Fiji Under-20 captain said they are looking forward to playing against the Drua.
“We know it will be tough because we are playing on their home soil.”

“Please come and support all the families in the village. To all our friends and families please come out in numbers and support the Reds.”
